Changing ranges of OLE Linked excel spreadsheets
« on: November 28, 2007, 09:14:34 AM »
Hey guys my boss showed me something that got me thinking about this last night. I was telling her that I am trying to find a better way of putting our excel spreadsheets into cad and not having to repaste them when the schedule grows as we usually break them by floor. I would like to use tables but they are just not up to par yet for what we do. She showed me how you can manually change the range in olelink dialogue. So what I was thinking was say I had an excel schedule which was linked to autocad and spanned across 5 layouts with the schedule being split by floor and I added 2 lines on the first floor. I would like to bump the rest of the floors forward by those 2 lines. Has anyone thought of tackling anything like this. I'm sure alot of people would find it useful.
