Topic: convert access 97 to access 2002 by code

I have to work with a 3rd party vertical and they use access 97 files as dbases. Now I need to append those and I can only do that with the code I have when dbases are in the access 2002 form. So can I use the help program in access to convert somehow out of a code (macro?)
