ActiveX and VBA Reference - Where is it now?
« on: January 14, 2014, 07:31:50 PM »
When trying to puzzle out some Vlisp Autocad 2014, the "About Converting AutoLISP Data Types to ActiveX Data Types" page in (not much)Help, it pointed me to the ActiveX and VBA Reference and of course provided no hot link or address.  Searching with Desktop Explorer did not find anything in the Autocad 2014 program files but did find a copy here:
   C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Showcase 2013\bin\acadauto.chm

Information for finding this file in some previous versions can be found here:
   http://www.theswamp.org/index.php?topic=41032.0

Some searching on the web pointed me here http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/index?siteID=123112&id=1911627 which noted various Autocad 2014 reference file locations including:
   2014 ActiveX Developer's Guide - C:\Program Files\Common Files\Autodesk Shared\acad_aag.chm
   ActiveX and VBA Reference - C:\Program Files\Common Files\Autodesk Shared\acadauto.chm

This file seems unnecessarily tedious to find.   :realmad:

Hope this info helps folks
