"Best Practices" for collaboration?
« on: July 19, 2007, 11:33:49 AM »
We're just getting our feet wet with Revit Structure, and our first go-round wasn't as successful as it could have been when it comes to who models what, who owns which element, how files go back and forth...that sort of thing. Has anyone seen/written "best practices" articles to help new Revit users learn to share their files with others? I'm not necessarily looking for "how to model" stuff; more along the lines of "when to use copy/monitor". I've looked around, but AUGI's search engine is frankly pretty bad, and I haven't seen much from the AU handouts either.

I actually found a bunch from AU2006 (prior years were sadly sparse), but I'd still be interested to know what issues other people have run into.
