Xclip frame is plotting.
« on: July 02, 2007, 12:06:10 PM »
Hello ladies and gents.  I've got yet another tale of the unfortunate and bizarre for you today.

We use xclipping extensively, almost to a fault.  Lately, we've noticed that the xclipframe is showing up on our plots.

No, I don't mean some obscure polyline placed on a no plot layer, I mean the actual xclip boundary that AutoCAD generates when you clip an xref.

If I turn xclipframe off, the boundary doesn't print.

Any ideas as to what's causing this?  I've never run across it before.

Have you tried setting Xclipframe=0?

Yes, and that stops it from plotting. (as referenced above when I discussed turning xclipframe off)  However, it should never plot regardless of it being on or not.

Our drawing startup routine sets the boundary to 1 on drawing open. (no, I don't have a clue why)

I'm guessing that I was just being an idiot about this.

I can't reproduce having the xclipframe being set to 1, and having it not plot now.  To top it off, I can't now remember 100% if I was ever able to do this.

Thanks to Gliderider.  Guess I should have just more intelligent in figuring out if I had a problem first.
