Can't save drawing

Can somebody please tell what this is and what to do about it!!!  I get this message when I try to save my drawing.  Never seen this before.  I'm using Map 5.

_saveas ** SAVEAS command not allowed during reference editing **
_qsave ** QSAVE command not allowed during reference editing **


Any help is greatly appreciated.

Were you editing a block or xref on screen and closed the toolbar without hitting the save icon on it?
