Someone recommended these two books
Digging Into Autodesk Civil 3D 2007
Digging Deeper Into Autodesk Civil 3D 2007 - Level 2 Training
from
https://www.cadapult-software.com/
before we buy them, anyone got any comments? or can suggest other books for C3D? I could not find any review for these too books.
Thanks.

While I have nothing against these titles, I would suggest
THIS
instead. It is not likely to be released until September, but Dana has an excellent grasp on how to run Civil 3D and it should be well worth the wait. For an idea of her style and what she will be covering in the book you can check out some of her articles at
JAMES WEDDING'S SITE
. James also has a book due out this summer that I would also recommend sight unseen. James was testing Civil 3D before it was even called by that name.

I'll try again.
The book is a collaborative effort by James, Dana, Mark, and Jason Hickey.
Last I knew the September date was still on.
