Where are the rest of the support paths in the registry?
« on: June 12, 2007, 06:36:15 PM »

I wrote a VBA Module that creates all of the support paths but then I decided I would like to write a VBScript to do the same, however I can not find all of the paths in the registry  :-(
I have found 10 out of the 14 that I need.

The four I can not find are:

1.Alternate File Font
2.Font Mapping File
3.AutomaticSaveFileLocation  and
4.TemporaryExternalReferenceFileLocation

Does anyone know where these 4 pathes are in the registry?
I have looked pretty thoroughly under the current profile (General and General Configuration) in the registry.

Thank you

Mark

HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-21-4266793372-1633250424-1490556920-1113\Software\Autodesk\AutoCAD\R17.1\ACAD-6005:409\Profiles\<<Unnamed Profile>>\Editor Configuration
Maybe.

Thanks Bry, I will take a look
This may be a naive question but if the path exists in ACAD, then surely it must exist in the registry; isn't that correct?

Thank you

Actually the place to look is Profile\Unnamed Profile\Editor Configuration as we have different versions, which has a different key as well.
Mine is R16.2 ACAD-4008-409

Regardless, it is the same result, I will take a look.

Thank you

Mark

PS: Do you have R2008?

Ok, I'm sorry, I misunderstood you.
Under each profile, there is an Editor Configuration.

Yes that is what I needed.

Thank you very much!
