Ok, this is the official submittal thread for the now infamous OpenDCL contest (check out the thread over at autodesk.autocad.customization "OpenDCL contest"). All submittals shall be posted here for others to view, download, try, and then ultimately vote. Here are the
official rules:
Purpose:
The purpose of this
contest is to expose the AutoLISP community to the benefits of the freeware OpenDCL.

https://sourceforge.net/projects/opendcl/Submittal Guidelines:
1. Submittals will include all files necessary for members to download and try out in AutoCAD (2004 to 2008). This includes OpenDCL.xx.arx.
2. Lisp files that deal expressly with the OpenDCL form will not be compiled or encrypted (remember this is an educational endeavor to illustrate the ease in working with OpenDCL). Please take the time to comment the OpenDCL control AutoLISP files for others to easily understand. Obviously if you have proprietary subs by all means compile them.
3. Submittals will be limited to a single purpose application that showcases the use of a GUI constructed with OpenDCL. Said application can use multiple forms.
Judging Criteria:
1. The application should showcase the extended capabilities of OpenDCL, some of the more robust controls available.
2. The ODCL form should be easy to use and navigate.
3. The application should endeavor to either extend the capabilities of AutoCAD or make a difficult task(s) much, much easier.
4. For this contest lets exclude applications that deal with the verticals (ADT, MAP, etc.)
5. Extra consideration should be given to form design. If you choose to go outside of "normal" Microsoft GUI standards, make it exiting!!!
6. Only one application per entrant.
Contest Schedule:
Submittal deadline will be 45 days from today: Friday July 20th, 2007.
Voting deadline will be 10 days later on Monday July 30th, 2007.
Votes will be via e-mail to me – I need to set up a dedicated account.
Prizes:
First Place;
1. Daniel Hargreaves has graciously put up a full license of ArchSymb 4.1 (no restrictions on the license, it will even be upgradable to 5.0 when released).
2. You will be known as ‘OpenDCL Master.’
Second Place;
1. You will be known as ‘OpenDCL Expert’
