Dynamic Blocks and Attribute Rotation
« on: January 26, 2007, 10:52:43 AM »
I've got my latest DB almost to the point where I can use it, but there's still one part I'm not sure about.  In the attached image, the DB on the left is the same as the DB on the right, however, the DB on the right would really need to look like the DB on the lower-right (with the attributes flipped, rotated, whatever...).  So my question of the day is, what parameter/setting should I use to achieve this.  I would like to accomplish this with as few clicks as possible.  Any ideas?  I've also attached the block.

You would probably need to put a flip in and activate the flip first.  That way the text is always right side up.  I don't think there is a way that once it reaches a certain degree it flips over automatically.

I simplified it a little bit.  You had stuff in there you didn't need.

What do you mean by "activate the flip first"?

I was looking at the flip and a flip/rotate combo but I'd like to keep the number of clicks to a minimum.

WHOA!!! The flip does some really wacky stuff there, especially if you flip, flip, flip, flip.... the text gets farther and farther away from the leader.

The two at the top are mine the two at the bottom are yours.

Use one of the two at the top.
