Stretching 3D objects

Hey gang, if you create a 3D object in lets say a 2004 version of autocad can you use the new commands of 2007 to change the object.  If I have a 20" long bolt drawn in 04' and want to make it 30" long I should be able to stretch it with the grips with the new 2007 3d?  I would think this would make sense but I could be wrong.

I still use 2005 but have 2007 installed.

I ran a test and create in 2005 a cylinder and then opened in 2007 and does not acquired the new features - but it may be just me, I have not played that much with A2007.

I wouldn't think so, as the entity was created using an older 3d solid class that didn't have these feature 'grips' or 'handles' and the methods to use them, they wont have them built in or saved, sorry.

Hi

Not with Grips ( as far as I know ).

But you could use the new _.PressPull command on your 3D Object to make it 10" longer.

Have a good one, Mike

Post it and I can try for you
