How can I add a raster like a wipeout?  No image just black, made from a polyline?

Well i think maybe I was unclear (as usual).  I am currently doing this:
(command "wipeout" "P" EntRec "Yes")  this is a wipeout from a rectangle.

I want to see if I can us the ActiveX approach  'addraster but it seems to need an image.

Does anyone have any experience using this?
