Wipeout Question
« on: April 26, 2004, 09:25:09 AM »
How can I create a wipeout which won't plot?

we have an architect who doesn't have full AutoCAD, and consequently whenever he plots our draiwings, which have wipeouts in them, he plots the frames as well.

I tried switching the fram to the defpoints layer, and while it didn't plot the frame, it also didn't mask the text on the plot, although it did on the drawing.

Have you tried turning the Wipeout frames off?

Command: WIPEOUT
Select first point or [Frame/New from Polyline] <New>: F
Select an option [OFF/ON] <OFF>:

Hope that helps.

I have done that, but he can't turn them off.

I thought he has autocad, but he doesn't, its a system I've never heard of.
I think he got it free with a magazine
