MicroStation Tutorials
« on: June 04, 2007, 11:17:21 PM »
Seems come September our company will be straight Microstation and it doesn't seem I'm making much progress with the 1/2 hour of lunch after eating. The company has the on-line training, but still being on my temp probation period, I don't have access. So.......

Does anyone have any MicroStation tutorial links? Preferably something video  :ugly:

(I keep thinking I've got till Sept to relearn 14 years of ACAD)

We had a lunch time training today and I asked about the repeat distance command. The room got quiet and I got the feeling everyone prob thought I was a lunatic,  (which is another topic!).

I had found this pdf to have some useful stuff in it.  Found it in a Google search for "Microstation for AutoCAD users"

For the neophyte, they have pretty fair support, but don't get beyond that.  We've been a "Select" subscriber for a number of years and find that AskInga is a much deeper source of help.

If you're speaking of Inga Morozoff, no I didn't know she was Canadian.  "AskInga", the website, is truly an amalgam of sixty or seventy contributing authors and tipsters from all parts of the industry.

She is a super nice knowledgeable person!
Pieter and I met her (at the beer party) in Charlotte at Bentley conference last year. I took a Descartes class from her. She was a good teacher and has a humorous personality. She kept us laughing:lmao:
Of course than there was her accent, which was definitely not Swedish!
