Copy Attributes

(1/2) > >>

VerticalMojo:
Maybe you guys knew this (im sure you do) but I thought I would share whatever I discover cause I didn't......

On a block if you select a attribute by its grip point, hold down the shift key and you can copy it. The attribute is associated with the block but you wouldn't see it when you edit the block unless you select to edit that particular attribute. It could be helpful if more info is needed to be put on that block and you don't want to redefine it.

Keith™:
Um.... actually what you are doing is copying the block along with it's attributes. So you in fact have 2 blocks and double the attributes.

Sorry to burst your bubble there....

VerticalMojo:
I just figured that out keith.... and your right.

Keith™:
no problem...I tried it out in several different ways just to be sure I wasn't missing something....

Its usually the CTRL though in the default set up,that hit while dragging a block to copy it.You notice that a little + appears when u hit the CTRL key,but hit the shift key while holding donw the CTRL key as well and a arrow appears. What on earth does this mean? :?
