We are on 2002 and have just started getting files in 2004 format. Well how obscure is this, I had reason last year to download the free viewer from Bentley so I could view dgn format and guess what....
It opens 2005.
How about that!!

It would be nice to have a program to convert back to older versions.
Someone sends you a ACAD2005 file. Rather than calling and asking them
to save it back to 2002 or whatever, have a utility prg to convert it
back, not just view it. I've never seen one though.

the dwg versions have not changed in 2005, so all 2004 will be compatible with 2005  :lol:

I guess they could write a note to AutoDORK?
What,s the deal anyhooo? has the platform that supports 2K4 changed that dramatically or is this just another "sales gimmic"?
