Serge, Don't post someone's phone number.  Would you want someone to post yours on random forums?  PM it to him.

?? Do not know where the problem is, considering that his office phone number was advertised on his website as well as in the help section of ODCL software.
Mark or any other moderator, if you think it is inappropriate remove the post.

Not knowing the source of the phone number causes concern on our end.
It would be best if a link was posted for the phone number so the source would be obvious to all.

Thanks

That would be a great idea if the ODCL code could survive as it is : an Autolisp friendly device.

too bad if it had to disappear

Andrea, do you think you have the programming skills to update and maintain ODCL ?

depends on how you look at it.  Andrea will be able to get the source and help to revive a product in which he believes.

It's a two sided coin -- while it's nice that the CADD community will be able to enjoy the fruit of many years of Chad's labour, it's a shame he will not realise any subsequent income or residuals, especially in light of the fact he is seriously ill.

Yes... I agree with your comments, I would prefer hearing from him to simple say I will be abandon the project, but it is his work.... and decision....

I got from Chad the first, help about C++ and ObjectARX many years ago.
