zoom problems
« on: March 11, 2004, 07:57:00 AM »
when using acad 2002, in paper space, when i zoom the model (lets call it plan01) it zooms  with me.  i.e.  when i zoom into the drawing, still in paperspace and NOT in floating paperspace either,  i zoom into the sheet the plan fills the screen and zooms in "with me".

also if i pan using the middle button, the view "try's" to stay on the screen and will get smaller so it can.

also the ucsicon (the 3 colour 3d ucs icon) is displayed even though i am in paper space.  the paper space the right angle triangle one is also still displayed.

this is really confusing

any help would be greatly appreciated

thanks in advance

It is likly that you have the viewport locked, right click on the viewport and uncheck the "lock viewport"

You have shading turned on in the offending viewport. Set modelspace in the offending viewport, then set shademode to 2d wireframe.

No. What UCS follow does is set the plan view for a viewport. When you set ucsfollow to 1 in YP 1 it will always switch to plan view when you change the ucs in any other VP.
