What about Civil/Structural designers (without PDS) 10-20 years experience?
We're really looking for PDS, but then again we really need help, and can train PDS so the bracket will be close.  I'll check.

Yep bracket will be the same.  If you're interested PM me a resume and I'll forward it to the Discipline Supervisor.

Australia is booming, in particular Brisbane, where I am. Tom/Kerry got it right - critical shortage of drafts people, even just decent CAD operators. 2 civil projects in the city at the moment are worth about 5 billion  :-o

Rates, from what I've heard, range from $40 - $50 /hr for a decent CAD operator and anywhere up to $80+/hr  for an experienced drafter in all disciplines. Company I worked for recently was bringing in people from all over the world (sorting visas etc).

Yep !!

If there are any StructuralSteel Workshop detailers out there who want a change, PM me. If there are 12, even better

... or any competent CAD operators who want to learn steel detailing ...

kdub, kdub_nz in other timelines.
Perfection is not optional.
Everything will work just as you expect it to, unless your expectations are incorrect.

REMINDER!

The Salary Survey runs through Tuesday.

So, in otherwords, the 31st is the LAST DAY that you can dedicate less than 5 minutes of your life to ensuring accurate representative data is available for everyone's reference...

pretty pretty please, tell your codorkers, friends, people you love, like, hate or just tolerate...
