Location: Santa Rosa, CA
Experience: 30 yrs.
Job Description: Whatever needs to be done.... survey crew, survey tech., civil tech, civil designer, CAD Manager, lisp programmer, vba programmer, IT dude, computer repairman, janitor...
What I DON'T do: answer phones, type letters, go to non-essential meetings (I decide if I should go)
Pay: $72k/yr + O.T. + Bonuses + benefits (401k, 6 weeks vacation, health & dental ins., etc.)

LOL, nope. 'Course it's just me, the boss, 2 full time techs and 1 part-time college intern.

And the boss was recently overheard to say he wanted out of this business so he can do land development full-time.  :|

Oh, and what Greg said, too. There isn't anyone else here that makes even half that.

3 years with the company (doing various elec drafting)
started 6 months into a 2 year degree

location: bellingham washington
field: aerospace (aircraft interiors)
pay: $860 wk, benefits n' stuff
title: associate electrical engineer (means i just draw pretty).... mostly 'the cad guy'


starting pay (fresh outta bk) $10/hr

I always knew Montana was on the low end of the payscale, but I didn't expect to be rock bottom.......and the pay I make is good for the area.

Starting pay: $11.00 per hour
Current pay: $14.15 per hour
Time with company: 4+ years
Experience: 15 years.
Title: CAD Manager, Senior Drafter, Jr. Designer, Network Administrator


Moral of the story: Don't move to Georgia.  :-(
