i've created a pipe using a 3d spline but in several of the drawing views the pipe outline has disappeared.
any ideas?

Hello again guys

Have had no luck on the cadalyst site (god that is so slow)

I'm still in trouble, I have a large assembly in MDT5, the drg views are all correct but some of the pipes in some of the views are not shown, it's not layers or hide or anything silly, it's purely random. It must be either a system setting or else MDT5 does not like pipes created by 3d splines.

Is there a smillie for desperate?

8) You say this random...so does that mean that pipe that look ok now will sometime dissappear completely/partly ?

thanks spageddie

I believe the problem is with mdt itself, when you create a new view in a layout, if there are complicated curves, mdt will struggle to translate them.
I've noticed this on iso views, quite often there will be lines missing.
So my meandering pipe paths are just causing a problem for mdt to translate.
This only happens when you create views with hidden lines of course.

Thanks everyone
