Help, what am I missing.
Copy and paste from excel, has always worked. I use paste special/product entities.
Now nothing appears. I have rebooted, started new drawing, changed background colour, changed layer from 0 to specific. Only 47 lines in excel.
Been using ADT3.3 on XP Pro with Excel 2002 for about 2 years never happened before.
Am I being totally stupid and missing something obvious (nearly 50 !!)

Are you pasting the cell contents OR the sheet itself?

If it is the sheet itself, try inserting an ole object from the file.

If you are trying to insert the cell contents, you might be picking up a formula instead of the text, either way though it would seem that something would show!

Cell contents not formula. Funny thing is that even with big files it still pastes something. Must be part of the issue Acad has with large clipboard data.
That's the wednesday puzzler, it is wednesday isn't it

I always highlight the cells needed, edit->copy, then with Excel still open, go into the AutoCAD drawing, edit->paste special, select the second radio button (for link) and hit ok.  Then use OLESCALE to scale it to the right size...hope that helps...
