Cannot open ACAD

Help!  I can't open my r14 version of ACAD. The following message
appears on my screen:

"The procedure entry point ?RetrieveSaveImagePreview@Whip@YAPAVGenericBMPPreview@1@J
@Z could not be located in the dynamic link library dswhip.dll"

I have never seen this message before nor has ACAD failed to open
for me before this. Any ideas anyone??

A different version of that file is used for most ACAD Editions and extras like viewers.

I'd be guessing, but you may need to do a restore installation.

Thanks for your reply and I was afraid you were going to suggest
that. I did restore r14 and it does indeed now open.
