Adding Polyline lengths

Can someone tell me or help me figure out a way to add the lengths of several polylines.  I have several hundred contours I need to add the lengths together.  Selecting one at a time and manually adding the length is taking entirely too long.  Any help is greatly appreciated.

Never mind, it's amazing what will pop up in here if one isn't to lazy to actually do a search.  Thanks anyway.
