Is there a way to insert a block and the drawing take the new properties of that block instead of the block taking the drawings properties?

example...?
Everyone has a photographic memory, Some just don't have film.
They say money can't buy happiness, but it can buy Bacon and that's a close second.
Sometimes the question is more important than the answer. (Thanks Kerry for reminding me)

Sorry....

Drawing "a" has a block. In another drawing "b" I update the same block slightly (shape) but keep the attributes the same. I would like to insert the block in drawing "a" and have all the blocks change to match the block I updated instead of the other way around. This may be an express tool or something but I never tried to do this before....

Ah ... command line ...
provided the block has been saved back to the hard drive ...
in drawing "a"
-insert blockname=blockname
or
in drawing "a"
insert ->browse to file->redefine;yes

Thanks for that answer Keith.

What if I didn’t save it into the hard drive and I was just pulling it out of design center from that drawing?

I did it your way and Keith and just saved that block to the hard drive and redefined it in the drawing.

The reason is none of my blocks are individual drawing files, they are all in one drawing and I drop them in using the design center.
