Attach .jpg instead of the sdl format
« on: June 18, 2013, 02:29:12 PM »
Hello guys  :-)

Is it possible to attach an image with the extension of .jpg instead of the sdl in the image_button attribute ?

I tried to attach the .jpg file but it shows nothing  :-(

Any idea ?

Thanks in advance

Not using standard DCL.

However, with some trickery, you can use Bitmaps  :-)

You can not use an image file.
You can convert an image file to a vector list that can be displayed.

Thank you CAB

I tried that but the image doesn't look clear enough with the vector lists , how do you convert the image to vectors ?

Many thanks

You can import an image into ACAD and then MSLIDE to create a SLD file of it.
That may give you the results you want.

As for vectors I use a routine like Lee posted the link to.
