VERNUM...
« on: February 27, 2013, 01:02:35 AM »
Is "vernum" an AutoCAD system variable?
I can't find it in the HELP.
Thanks in advance.

Nope, I've never heard of it. Do you perhaps mean "ACadVer"?
Common sense - the curse in disguise. Because if you have it, you have to live with those that don't.

It's _VERNUM. I don't think it's documented.

You're right, don't know what it refers to though. Probably some library or internal which acad uses. Can't seem to figure any correlation:
Code: [Select]
Command: ACADVER
ACADVER = "19.0s (LMS Tech)" (read only)
Command: (ver)
"Visual LISP 2013 (en)"
Command: _VERNUM
_VERNUM = "G.55.0.0 (UNICODE)" (read only)
Common sense - the curse in disguise. Because if you have it, you have to live with those that don't.

Thanks to all for your explanations.
The undocumented system variables should also be called unexpected system variables in some degrees.
