Civil 3D tends to be the last one ready. Since it is built on Map, they cannot create the final build of C3D until they have the final build of Map. And they can't create the final build of Map until they create the final build of Vanilla. (And actually, Autodesk Civil seems to follow even after Civil 3D - people have been receiving Civil 3D, but as far as I know, no one has received Autodesk Civil yet...)
Autodesk announced probably a year and a half ago that LDT 2009 was the end of the road for that product, and I have seen no signs that they have changed their minds. Personally, I don't mind at all, because I never want to use Land Desktop ever again. Civil 3D has problems, but it is far better than that old decaying product. And unlike Land Desktop, once you learn enough about C3D to use it comfortably and work around the biggest problems, it can actually be fun to use. I never said that about Land Desktop.
