Are you running something other than autocad?
i ve tried it just after starting the pc and it wont work. even at home i have the same problem...
And lastly should you insist on using explorer in that fashion try this instead:
Browse to the File you want open, then with a lift click-and drag, drag it onto the command line in autocad and release; the drawing will open.
ok this worked but its still not as convenient as using explorer and just selecting multiple files, right clicking, and selecting open
When you right click on the file's icon, what options appear in the context menu? In particular, which option is shown in bold?
i see 'open' in bold whether i select one or multiple files
p.s. in 2007 it works as expected, just in 2009 it doest work... both on different PCs one running XP and the other Vista
