Phantom Grid?
« on: May 29, 2008, 12:04:09 PM »
I just had some kind of weird grid turn on inside one of my viewports.  GRID = 0, but I'm looking at a grid right now.  Regen doesn't clear it and it has nothing to do with LIMITS.  Anyone know what I'm talking about here?

Get out of the viewport and into the paperspace area and try that again. It could be just the paperspace grid.

It was... both in Paperspace and in Modelspace, but still, the grid remained.  Restarted AutoCAD and it's gone...

Whatever... :?

I had the same thing happen to me today.  I tried to delete but to no avail.  I found out it was on a locked layer, all by its lonesome.

I believe that's an "as designed" feature!

It might have something to do with the graphics card as well. Some GC's tend to leave ghosting in various ways if they're left running too long or if you're working them too hard.

:lmao:

Oh, sorry... you were serious!

;)

Yeah, I don't know.  When I would do a Regen, the screen would appear to refresh with the little 'flicker', but the grid would remain.  It hasn't come back since restarting acad, anyway.

Thanks folks!
