has anyone come across/written a routine (or know of an easy way) to edit dimensions there we created at world UCS to match a rotated ucs?

I think I helped someone with a request similar to yours.  What we had to do was redraw the dimensions in the current ucs.  Thinking out loud, you might be able to change the normal of the dimension, which tells it what the ucs of the object, and update it from what it was to the current ucs.

i tried everything i could think of. i finally just panned around and created a new dims and just erased the old ones. not the best plan, but it was a plan

not sure I understand what you mean...

do you mean dimensions where the text is "upside down?"

if yes, then I have something

if no, then i am clueless what you are talking about.??

the dimensions aren't upside down (i have something for that too), they are rotated 90° to my rotated UCS.
