(Microstation) Invert Raster Image for Plotting
« on: January 18, 2007, 09:26:14 AM »
I have a drawing that contains a raster image that needs to be inverted so I can plot it without wasting all of our ink.

I figured out how to invert it for the display, but not for the plot.  Anyone??  :|

Thanks!

In the print dialog box (V8.5) under -> Settings -> Raster Options
is the ability to alter the image for printing

Boo Hoo Hoo...

I wish we had up-to-date software...

We have '95 and that isn't an available setting.  In fact, the Settings menu isn't even there!

Many, Many thanks for the screenshot and tip, though!!!

Do you have Bentley View (a free viewer/printing)?
If you have access to download and install Bentley View then this would work for you.

Never thought of that!  We have Bentley View throughout the office EXCEPT in the CAD room.  I just figured it out, though.  It was in the Reference File -> Attachment settings.  I had both Invert AND Transparency selected.  Just out of curiosity, I turned invert off and it worked.  Don't know why, though...

Thank-you for your help!
