Attribute justify problems.......
« on: May 12, 2004, 01:36:17 PM »
Got a problem in 2K4....attributed block. This thing's nothing more than a call-out circle with 2 lines of text in it. So...the top line of text reads "HV" (hand valve) and I change it to "FCV" (flow control valve).....the text is pre-set to center justified but when I close the editor it's LEFT justified. If I re-select, it jumps back to center again........ Nothing on the knowledge base and my re-seller/support is as lost as I am. Any ideas? This thing was fine two weeks ago in 2Ki................

T-Bear, I've seen the same.
The attribute doesn't actually change it's properties to left justified, it still remains as centre justified but appears as left justified.
I've exited the drawing and return & it has then appeared correctlly, I think even a regen may have also made it appear correct.

It's possible the cause is a graphics issue or system running a little low on resources so it's not refreshing the screen properly.
(just stabbing in the dark with this one as I have no idea)

I've had something similar: the attribute looks as if the justification has changed but when you zoom in or do a regen, the justification is as it should be. I just took it as some kind of graphics issue and learned to live with it.

Thanks fellas.  It does seem to correct its self with a regen, even previews to plot OK....Like Hendie, we'll just live with it.  Card is   eVGA GeForce FX5200 8X AGP 128 Mb .... should be OK.....
