Convert Single line Text to MText?
« on: March 21, 2006, 05:09:12 PM »
I figure this is a stretch but....

Is there a way to covert several lines of 'single line' text to Multiline text, (Mline).

I've been copy & pasting to do it. It would be nice if I could select all 10 lines and convert them with a macro or ?.

(I use the LT version, so Lisps won't work)

No Express tools.

I take it that the conversion can't be done without them?

I will have to check into Express Tools to see what they are & what they cost. I'm tired of having my hands tied on some customizations. - I want to do more.

If I learn more about Express Tools, maybe I can talk the Boss into getting it for me.

Thanks for the prompt response, - craigr.

Your hands might be a little tied on this one if all you are using is AutoCAD LT.

I don't think they have a version that will run on lite without the lisp enabler.

Yoland,

Thanks for the link. I have just checked it out. I read the txt file for the LT Express, and sadly it doesn't mention changing Single line text to MText.

Thanks anyway, craigr
