Civil 3d 2008 on Mac (Bootcamp)
« on: March 01, 2013, 11:24:15 AM »
From what I've read about thus far it appears to be a bad idea to try running C3D 2008 on a Mac as Bootcamp screws up the licensing. Does anyone else have any experience with this? Can someone get it working? I have a Mac and a seat of Windows 7. I'd really like to get Civil 3d on it so I can work from it if possible.

You will probably need to send the request code to your reseller...because it is a separate install of the licence

Yeah, but I've read that the license actually gets botched and you have to get a new code every time you shut down and restart. I'm not sure if this is related to the license alone or perhaps with the portable license utility. That hasn't been clear from all of the things I've read. If I had the money to drop on the latest Mac version I would, but ya know...
