How to add xdata to a drawing without objects?

Hi there,

Is there a way to add "xdata?" to a drawing withouth attaching it to an object?

edit - I want to add notes to a drawing.

XData is a possibility too. You can add it to layer 0 because that is always available.

xrecord has less size limitations than xdata right?

I want to keep adding development notes to projects.

I'm still not sure how to do it.

As I understand it I must first create my dictionary and than add xrecord?

I still dont know how to create them and how to acess them.
