So your speed bottleneck is the disk access to read the directories, correct?

correction, this is working now, but it locks my acad up, the only way out is to his the esc

Well yes for a Secure connection but FireFox says it is not secure so you must override the warning or drop the S.
This link was produced in a google search and had the S included. So I posted it without checking.
