I'm seeing a theme here. Apparently Cad users like layers.

Thanks Alan.  Maybe I should update that code ( MapDbxDocs ) to look for the opened drawing within the current session of Acad, like Lee did in his.  I know it should be done, but.....


Here is another spot you can look to.  Tracey wanted to learn lisp, and decided that creating layers was the way to go.  Some good code/ideas within the thread, IIRC.
