plotting in AutoCAD LT
« on: October 14, 2009, 11:17:54 AM »
I have a client that is using AutoCAD LT (not sure which version), but we do not have any LT versions in our office.  My question is, can you plot .dwgs in LT using CTB files.  We have this project where we made all our PDFs using a standard CTB file and I'm hoping to be able to send him that file and he'll be able to use it and plot PDFs that look just like the ones we've been creating for him.

If so, is the process to set it up any different from say AutoCAD 2008?

Thanks in advance.

As long as he has the CTP it should work just fine, LT does ctb files.  If he is using color dependent this may be a bit confused by it, but it should work with no problems.

I have lt at home and full version at work.  They plot interchangeably as noted.
