Earthworks by Station

Is it fairly simple to set up earthwork calcs by station?

Do you have to create a corridor for this or can it be done with any two comparison surfaces?

What I would like to do is set my cross sections to display at the left 85% ± of the sheet and then have it tabulate the earthworks on the right 15% ± of the sheet with earthwork totals at the bottom right. Can this be done? Is it difficult? Does it take long to set up?

This is done with your section views,
and you follow essentialy the same process one would to generate ones volume reports.
And then process the section views.
being sure to assign the desired volume table

Doesn't look too difficult, but it may take some time to set up the styles. Thanks Mike.

Nah,

Just run it using Standard,
then copy and modify as required to achieve the desired layers, and or colors desired....

Well maybe if I had just done the sections and then added those tables, but I'm thinking more along the lines of section sheets rather than just the sections. Customizing to look like our old manually drafted ones.

Just look into the Group Plot Style...and be sure to grab a copy of the Sheets2Views.lsp file.....
