layer dialog column width

Hello,

In the attached image, where is the width of "Name" column stored? Sometimes AutoCAD remembers this width between sessions, but sometimes not. Is there a setting to control this somewhere?

In the registry...

The following is for MEP 2008.  The folders in red will probably vary for you.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Autodesk\AutoCAD\R17.1\ACAD-6006:409\Profiles\<Your Profile Name>\Dialogs\LayerManager\GlobalColumnSets\NameWidth

I see you're using Civil 3D.

This is for C3D 2008.
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Autodesk\AutoCAD\R17.1\ACAD-6000:409\Profiles\<Your Profile Name>\Dialogs\LayerManager\GlobalColumnSets\NameWidth
