LT tricks.. [topic starter]
« on: March 10, 2008, 10:56:52 PM »
Are there any known tricks with LT? The only one I know is the plot more than one copy when you publish :P

I use full ACAD 08... with a lot of custom LISPs, but about ten of my co-workers have LT. I figured if I could find some tips and tricks to make drafting easier for them since LISP is out of the question (Company will not purcahse the third party software).  :pissed:

I have a good number of tips and macros, in fact, can you narrow down the field a bit? What sort of work are the LT guys doing?
I *could* just post everything, but it would probably kill our consulting business the boss wants me to get going.

The vast majority of the MANY macros I have written are for inserting individual blocks. The rest are for changing linetypes / scales. Changing layer colors & block colors.

I have modified our plot icon to plot to different sizes of paper, different printers, etc...

Some others are the Fillet command with the radius to '0'.

Mirror with delete previous to 'yes'.

Etc..

Nothing real fancy.

Templates, templates, templates. Oh and a few good toolbar buttons will help too.
