Something Similar to Quick profile??
«

I have about 8 cross sections of a local creek taken by our survey crew. They are spaced around 500-1000 feet apart and wind every which way. My question is "Is there a way to do a cross section view without having a surface?" I played with the Quick Profile command but it deletes upon a save command. This is a preliminary survey and I just need some cross sections quilckly. Any help would be great. Thanks Swamp Members.

Run your quick profiles then initiate the export to xml command, click the button that allows you to select your objects in the .dwg, select your quick profiles. Now you can reimport them as real profiles and they will stay around... if you're nice.

Another method, define the stream alignment, and then create a Sample Line group at only the stations you are interested in seeing.
