Purge Muti-View Block Definitions?
« on: December 01, 2006, 12:38:58 PM »
Is there a way to purge a MV Block definition, particularly in Civil-3D?  But if anyone has any idea how to purge a MV Block Definition in ANY version of Autocad, that might be helpful.

I've discovered that I can go into the MV Definition and remove the Plan and Model definitions - that lets me purge the blocks used to create the MV Block.  But I can't seem to get rid of that MV Block Definition.

Here's a shot of my AEC Style Manager from Land Desktop.  If I had MV Blocks in there, the PURGE option would be available.  Not sure if C3D has the same thing (I can't remember and don't currently have it installed on this PC).

Give it a whirl.

Yeehaw!  That did it.  Thanks!

What a bizarre place for it...  I NEVER would've found it.  Searching the Help for "AECSTYLEMANAGER" returns 0 matches, in both the Civil-3D help and the Land Desktop help (even though MV blocks are in both)...  Was this a command that came from ADT, and never got documented in Civil-3D/Land Desktop?

You're welcome!

I believe ADT had them first, but don't quote me on that.
