I'm trying to insert custom symbols into the symbol manager with no success.
It fails after the last slide is created and I get this error message.
INTERNAL ERROR: !U:\global\src\ObjectDbx\DB\IMP\src\dbobji.cpp@1331: eWasErased

Not a clue! But it doesn't look good. It looks like you are trying to re-build the database with the added blocks, correct?
-
Mark - No, we aren't trying to rebuild it all, just add our blocks that we are using. It has worked fine before, but no matter how we tried it yesterday, it just kept crashing...Is there any other way of approaching this that you might see?

You can do one at a time!
1) create your block
2) make a slide of it (mslide)
3) copy both the block and slide to your symbol folder, i.e. C:\Data\Symbol Manager\Cogo
4) in LDT open the symbol manager
5) click add
6) give it a name (Symbol Name)
7) click 'slide' pick the newly created slide
8 ) click 'block' (this is already set if block name and slide name are the same)
9) set any other parameters you want click 'ok'

I had to do mine one at a time too. I don't know if there is a max MB limit on that routine or what, but it doesn't like to do a wad of files at one time....even though it's supposed to.
