Title: text not like I typed
Post by: vinnyg on October 04, 2005, 09:56:02 AM
Hi all,

I'm using r14 and a funny (funny?) thing is happening when I type text in
my drawing.  If I type a sentence using along with other letters and numbers,
an "x", after I have finished it appears as a horizonatal bar with a down arrow.

What's going on??

Help

Sounds like you have a customized program running. Is the 'x' removed from the string when finished?

NO!

The symbol that I mentioned is still there......no "x"

what font are you using .. some fonts have specialized characters that show when entering a specific ascii combination.

That was it...I didn't check my font selection before entering text.

Thanks for your help
