Ok guys,
Here's the thing. Have I lost my mind or is there something that I can change so I can get R2006 to allow me to move something from some point to A POINT NOT relative to the base point of the selection set?
I thought maybe I had lost it so I turned on the nomutt sysvar to see what the command line was doing and everything I entered displayed an "@" symbol which in turn makes everything relative to the base point and not the way I specifically want it in this case.
Please advise,

Ok, so - I've now found it. It is called DYN. the problem is how does one control that besides using F12??
thanks

There's little DYN button on the bottom of the window.
