Title: I'm not having any luck finding a developer reference
Post by: Rustabout on May 15, 2022, 05:04:13 PM
I can easily 'Google' my way to the Developer 'Guide' but I'm finding it to be far from thorough. It feels harder and harder each year to find anything on Autodesks sites. Any good links? Even a book.

fwiw:

I've downloaded the ObjectARX SDK and use the help from the Docs folder.

Copied and renamed the ones I use most.
The arxref.chm is handy as well.

. . but I do use this often . .

I've been away from cad for a few years, so everything helps :0

I've just got a similar issue. Is here anyone to suggest a possible solution?
What is your "issue"?

...
 Even a book.

This book is pretty good: 'Start Programming in .NET for AutoCAD'.

@huiz,
I bought that book as a kindle for someone I'm helping to learn c# for Autocad.
He is having no trouble with it , and seems to be progressing quite well so far.

I think you've done a good job of the book . . . well done !

A few of the snapshots are a little dated, but that was easily explained, and resolved.
If I notice any issues I'll let you know.

Regards,

Thank you  ;D

Later this year I'll update the book and then I will refresh the screenshots too. Thanks for letting me know!
