Title: .NET in 2023
Post by: kdub_nz on April 12, 2022, 06:52:21 PM
It's been a couple years since I've played with the beast, so :

The doc's say :
Quote
If you are targeting AutoCAD 2023 or AutoCAD 2023-based programs, you should use:
Microsoft Visual Studio 2019 version 16.11.5
Microsoft .NET Framework 4.8

Similar for Acad 2022

Has anyone had any breaking problems using Visual Studio 2022 instead of 2019 ??

Regards,

its fine as long as you’re targeting the correct framework.
I use Visual Studio 2022 for ARX/BRX/ZRX/GRX/TX/LOL-RX, I just need to set the correct build tools
arx wizards won't work though.

Thanks Daniel. Based on my prior usage ( using vs2019 instead of vs 2017 )  that sounds consistent.

Stay well !
