Title: CAD Work
Post by: nobody on February 03, 2020, 11:26:24 PM
Back in the day I used to get CAD contracts online to digitize plans, etc.  Simple tasks that paid a little money (20 years ago).

Anyone know anywhere I can find stuff like that these days?   Trying to help out my nephew by teaching him cad to learn a little money.

Maybe that stuff doesn't exist anymore.  I can't seem to find it.

The majority of that type of work is performed overseas for ridiculous, unmatchable cheap sums. Sorry.

Well... they probably need it more than him i suppose

Is your nephew at a level where he can work interdependently?

In the UK there are agencies that will place a person in a temp contract... or maybe your nephew could contact a couple of companies and ask about "apprenticeship"

Or is that not what you were thinking of?

If I were him, I'd contact as many companies as it takes to get an internship or something equivalent at the very least.
